26 years with the same American Chinese employer, relocating

Dear Mam/Sir, I have been with the same employer (American Chinese, Hong Kong family) since 1999 when I first arrived in Hong Kong. I have worked happily as the only helper taking care of a 1,600 square feet home in Marinella, Wong Chuk Hang. 3 kids, 1 dog. I joined this wonderful family when they had just 1 child, 1 years old. Since then I took care of helping the family raise 3 children. Including taking care of the babies all the way to seeing these 3 children blossom into the amazing adults they are today. In addition to taking care of the children, my duties have been cleaning, cooking, house chores, grocery shopping, ironing, taking good care of the dog, gardening at my employer’s terrace and anything else I can help with. 2 of the 3 kids are studying in the United States and the youngest child is about to enroll in University in the US. As such the family is relocating to America. That leaves me looking for my next employer. I am polite, duty bound, hard working and organized. I try my best to be helpful and over the past 26 years have proven my ability to do my job consistently well without fail. I have a daughter in the Philippines who is 17 years old and she is going on to higher education. I would say I am a happy person and would love to help my next employer in anyway I can. In my free time I enjoy hiking, attending church service and gardening at my employer’s terrace. I speak fluently English and very basic conversational Cantonese. I maintain an excellent relationship with my current employer and they are happy to serve as my reference upon request. Thanks and God bless.
