Household Profile

We are a warm and respectful family of three, consisting of two adults and one child aged five. We are seeking a second domestic helper to join our household and work alongside our current helper in a cooperative, supportive environment. We also have a gentle, disabled dog who uses a wheelchair and requires light daily assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare Support
• Assist in the daily care of a 5-year-old child
• Ensure the child's safety, well-being, and daily routines
• Use good judgement, patience, and common sense at all times
• Engage the child in age-appropriate and nurturing activities

Housekeeping & Home Organisation
• General cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
• Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Laundry duties including washing, ironing, folding, and organising
• Proactively organise household items and storage areas
• Anticipate household needs and take initiative without constant supervision

Cooking & Kitchen Duties
• Prepare simple, home-style meals when required
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen clean-up
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

Pet Care (Light Duties)
• Assist with feeding, walking and cleaning for a disabled dog
• Help ensure the dog's comfort and cleanliness
• Patience and care are essential

Teamwork & Flexibility
• Work cooperatively with another helper
• Share duties fairly and communicate well
• Be adaptable to changes in daily routines

Requirements
• Able to speak and understand English
• Proactive, responsible, and observant
• Kind, patient, and trustworthy
• Willing to share a separate bedroom with another helper
• Flexible with alternate off days
• Willing to work public holidays (leave in lieu or paid)
• Willing to learn and follow household routines
